Hydroxycut
Hydroxycut is a type of diet aid which is billed as a nutritional supplement that is sold under the brand Muscle Tech by the company Iovate Health Sciences, Incorporated. Hydroxycut, like so many products of its kind, has mass appeal because it is geared towards helping individuals lose weight, whether it be 20 pounds or 50 pounds. Hydroxycut is widely available for purchases at a variety of health food stores and department store chains such as Wal-Mart and GNC and it is also available over the Internet and through marketing on television. Hydroxycut with ephedra was very popular until it was determined that ephedra was a dangerous ingredient. Many people want to know if Hydroxycut actually works and if it does then which is better, Xenedrin or Hydroxycut, because the two are very similar in the way they are designed. A Hydroxycut review shows that while Hydroxycut is presently sold in the United States without ephedra its benefits for decreasing hunger and increasing metabolism levels are hotly debated. |

Hydroxycut does have some medical sided effects although it is widely promoted as having been created by physicians as well as being endorsed by physicians. Like all diet pills, there are dangers to Hydroxycut. The most documented side effects of Hydroxycut include dry mouth, an increase in appetite, a funny taste in the mouth, upset stomach, nausea, problems falling asleep and staying asleep, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, headaches, feeling flushed, joint and/or muscle pain and for women, worse pain during their menstrual periods. Hydroxycut can cause a higher pulse rate as well as increased blood pressure.
Always keep in mind that no diet aids sold today undergo the same rigorous trials that prescription drugs must undergo as well as over-the-counter forms of medication. The FDA does not have to approve of a particular diet aid before it is placed on drug store shelves or grocery shelves or even sold by way of the Internet or television. However if diet aids are shown to be of danger to the public then the FDA does have the authority to pull them off the shelf or stop websites from selling them. Hydroxycut is sold as liquid capsules as well as caffeine free. Beware of any type of nutritional supplement or diet aid that claims to be so beneficial that pounds can be shed rapidly. Shedding pounds in too short a period of time is not healthy and places quite a burden on the heart and the central nervous system as well as overtaxing the kidneys and liver. |
