Cabbage Soup Diet
The cabbage soup diet plan is a basically a 7 day cabbage soup diet that is all about consuming diet cabbage soup. Recipes for diet cabbage soup can be modified somewhat but the cabbage soup diet guidelines stipulate the way that the cabbage soup diet is to be carried out. Although it can be bland there are ways to make the cabbage soup diet more flavourful and interesting. An example of the cabbage soup diet plan would be for day one a person would eat a cabbage soup diet recipe, which would consist of cabbage soup plus some fruit, just not bananas. The dieter is also allowed black coffee, unsweetened tea, cranberry juice and plenty of water. For the second day on the cabbage soup diet, there is diet cabbage soup as well as an assortment of other vegetables that can be boiled, steamed or eaten raw. Make sure however to avoid eating corn, peas or dry beans on the second day of the cabbage soup diet. For dinner on the second day, also consume a baked potato with butter on it. |

Moving right along to the third day, eat a cabbage soup diet as well as other kinds of vegetables and fruits. On day four it is cabbage soup and fat-free milk as well as up to 8 bananas. On day five eat cabbage soup and then you are also allowed to consume up to 450 grams of fish or meat of your choosing and up to 6 tomatoes. Another downside of the cabbage soup diet is that soup is notorious for having a lot of salt in it and this is not good for those wishing to shed pounds or for those with heart problems or kidney problems. In fact a high sodium intake is not good for anyone and can lead to health problems down the line. |
